ENGINEERING SERVICES
MPA's team of professional engineers design, install and commission industrial automation and process control systems for a diverse range of high profile Australian manufacturers.
MPA's areas of expertise include: electrical consulting and project management; factory automation; water and sewerage control; PLC based control systems including Siemens, Square D, Mitsubishi etc; SCADA systems; switchboard design; basic and general software programming; weigh batching systems; power station and standby power systems; and hazardous area systems.
SWITCHBOARDS
MPA's Electrical Workshop provides clients with a complete industrial and commercial switchboard design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning service. From the very largest of motor control centres to the smaller control panels for OEMs, the Workshop builds high quality switchboards to client specification.
All boards are manufactured to AS3439 and MPA has designed a Form 3B switchboard which is type tested for a fault current rating of 63kA at 415V for one second and 50kA for three seconds, with loads up to 3000A. MPA holds an electrical contractors license and undertakes electrical installations and contract work, specialising in the industrial environment.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION SERVICES
Our dedicated Installation Team covers all aspects of work for a complete electrical installation package. Utilising the latest software, we can offer complete Design & Build solutions. Single line wiring diagrams can be produced along with cable sizes and protection devices, via Power-Calc-H. Our lighting designs for offices and external lighting applications are processed using ReLux lighting design software to comply with latest requirements.
Being part of a manufacturing company enables us to buy direct from suppliers which, in most cases, removes the mark-up associated with purchasing from wholesalers. These savings can then be passed on to the client making MPA a cost effective option with a high standard of workmanship. Our installation team has many years of extensive commercial and industrial experience which can be utilised on a day-to-day basis, enabling MPA to offer sound advice and practical electrical solutions.
